Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system

Maintain the effectiveness of theCAPAsystem records to ensureaudit-readiness for internal and external quality system audits within the Analytical, Microbiology, and Incoming Material Inspection Laboratories

Progresses investigations through theCAPAsystem

Work closely with other functional areas with the use of investigational tools to determine the root cause of any nonconformity, ensures thatCAPAplans address root causes, and ensures that corrective actions and preventative actions are implemented to facilitate the rapid, compliant, introduction of new/improved products, processes, and systems

Work to ensure that actions are on time, thorough, complete, meet the needs of the business and customers and that required standards and/or procedural requirements are met

Be an effective member of a multifunctional team, ensuring that all communications, interpersonal interactions and business behaviors areconsistentwith the Abbott Code of Conduct.

Evaluate and progresses the timely completion ofCAPAsystem activities, including effectiveness checks, raised for non-conformances,potentialnon-conformances, and/or deviations, as output from ADC’s Quality System

Facilitate the investigation process to ensure that root/potentialcauses are appropriate and implement effective actions to reduce theoccurrence/recurrenceof the nonconformance.

Maintain the effectiveness of theCAPAsystem records to ensureaudit-readiness for internal and external quality system audits within the area.

Ensures allCAPA-relateddocumentationis managed in a complete, clear, concise, and controlled manner.

Supports a work environment that ensures team effectiveness by demonstrating fullcross functionalteam support that complies with Corporate andregulatory requirements.

Supports other organizations in themanagementof theirCAPAactions and provide additional confidence that investigations are initiated and completed in a complete, concise, and timely manner; and that viable corrective actions are identified and implemented to address any non-conformances.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.Required Qualifications

Associates degree in relevant field OR high school diploma/GED with 2+ years experience in a high volume, regulated manufacturing environment

Able to apply strategic and quality logic andproject management skillsto investigation activities

Goodproject management skillsto deliver an effective service in a timely manner

Attention to detailto ensure accuracy of work that forms part of theQuality System documentation

Good written andoral communicationskills to ensure effective and succinct report generation, and effective communication with staff at all levels of the organization

Able towork independently

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Experience in leading CAPA investigations

Experience with ABTRAQ or other quality management system

Project management experience

Extensive root cause analysis experience

Knowledge ofFDA Quality System Regulations
