Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves providing excellent customer service in a financial setting, dealing with incoming phone calls, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As part of our client's team, you will be expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and punctuality. Responsibilities: Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with their inquiries. Use Microsoft Excel and Word to perform data entry tasks and maintain customer records. Respond to email correspondence from customers in a timely and professional manner. Make outbound calls to customers to gather updated payment information. Schedule appointments and manage customer interactions. Use your skills in Call Center Customer Service to ensure a positive experience for every customer. Be proactive in resolving customer issues and concerns. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality to ensure smooth operation of the customer service function. Be adaptable and flexible in responding to the changing needs of customers. Contribute to the overall team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.Requirements Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment. Skilled in answering inbound calls and managing both inbound and outbound calls effectively. Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service. Proficiency in data entry and order entry tasks. Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and promptly. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience in scheduling appointments in a timely and organized manner. High school diploma or equivalent education level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints efficiently. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Ability to work in a team and contribute positively to the team dynamics.
