And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.The Data Center Capacity Delivery team is looking for exceptional individuals to join our organization as Controls Maintenance Coordinator, responsible for scheduling and overseeing the preventative maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems ((EPMS) within Amazon data centers. This position is responsible for developing maintenance plans and schedules based on recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data and KPIs for existing data centers.Key activities for this position include reviewing Method Operating Procedures (MOPs), reviewing Recommended Action Items Lists (RAIL), estimating labor hours, materials, tools and equipment and scheduling Model Change Management (MCM) activities to support a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program. This role will work closely with controls engineers, controls management, maintenance technicians and vendor teams to plan, coordinate and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available windows. The Maintenance Coordinator will have a strong focus on Amazon’s leadership principles of Customer Obsession, Insist on the Highest Standards, Bias for Action and Ownership of their maintenance program.Key job responsibilities Identify specific safety hazards associated with planned maintenance activities Drive a proactive maintenance program that ensure 85% of planned work is proactive Estimate required work hours associated with work order tasks and total work duration Be responsible for screening method operating procedures (MOP)and overall scheduling of maintenance activities given available resources, criticality of work, and available maintenance windows Be responsible for providing support, guidance and recommendations to the controls team to insure cost management and analysis across a portfolio of fast paced projects. Maintaining and tracking status of budgets, and spends timely and accurately Reviewing and obtaining approval on vendor invoices associated with the maintenance activities. Applying critical thinking to make quality judgments that drive results Effectively communicating to multiple stakeholders on a regional level regarding ideas and procedures that will enhance and optimize future work activities Reviewing annual maintenance costs and making budget recommendations. 2+ years of program or project management experience
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience. Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
