Description We are in the process of hiring a Data Engineer to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is central to our operations in the industry, as you will be tasked with creating and managing large and complex data sets. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment, providing an ideal platform to utilize and enhance your skills in data management technologies including Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Cloud Technologies, and AWS Technologies.Responsibilities: Design, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable data management systems. Perform analysis and processing of complex data sets using SQL Server, D365, and Sharepoint. Develop and utilize scripts to automate tasks associated with data processing and data extraction. Implement algorithms and software needed to perform analyses leveraging Apache Hadoop. Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, and computational models. Leverage EO/IR systems for data collection and processing tasks. Use Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse for data processing and visualization. Implement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and BI systems. Utilize AZ Synapse, AZ Data Factory, AZ Data Lake for data storage and retrieval tasks. Develop and implement APIs for data consumption. Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Proficiency in Apache Kafka and Apache Spark is required. Experience with Cloud Technologies and AWS Technologies is a must. Must have experience with EO/IR systems and Algorithm Implementation. Proven expertise in Database management and Analytics is required. Experience with Apache Hadoop is a plus. API Development skills are highly desired. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines is necessary. Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
