Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. Duration: 12+ Months Contract Location: Middletown, OH Role: Desktop Support Primary Skills: HelpDesk Role Description: The Desktop Support must have at least 3+ years of experience. Required Qualifications: - Operating Systems: Win 7 and 10 experienced. - Hardware: Dell, HP, Lenovo - Exposure to imaging - Knowledge of SCCM - Ability to use AD tools - Knowledgeable of Office Products (office 365 Office 2019) - Knowledgeable about printers and simple troubleshooting - Experience in installation of diverse set of software - Working knowledge of smartphones (interfacing to corporate e-mail) would be a plus - Experienced in creating documentation for fellow technicians to use - Desire to help others - Ability to lift 15-25 lbs - Ability to climb stairs - Ability to walk distances while carrying equipment - 2 years or equivalent IT support experience - 5 years or equivalent IT support experience - Associate degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience - Bachelors degree in an IT related field or equivalent work experience Preferred: - Experience with Windows PC imaging processes (we are doing a ton of imaging and rebuilds currently - to upgrade many remaining PCs from Win7 to Win10) - Experience with IT product stock ordering, receiving, processing (and helping maintain an efficient and productive IT stockroom) - Able to troubleshoot, correctly diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues with desktops, laptops, tablets, multifunction printers/scanners/copiers/fax machines, conference phone systems, overhead projectors, etc. - Able to demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills (both written and verbal) - Familiarity with HP ServiceNow (our helpdesk ticketing system) is a plus - Familiar with domain migration processes - Experience with installing (and troubleshooting) the following: - (1) Microsoft products (Windows 7 and 10, Office 365 apps especially Outlook, Teams, Visual Studio) - (2) Various Adobe products - (3) McAfee antivirus (and ePolicy Orchestrator) - (4) Cisco AnyConnect (VPN client) - (5) SCCM client (used for app & patch installs) - Remote desktop tools and apps - Able to transport and deploy various IT equipment to many different parts of the mill (someone who isnt afraid of dirt, heat and loud noises and who can carry 50+ lbs up multiple flights of steps as needed) - Must be open minded, flexible, and willing to learn a lot of new things quickly is mandatory. - Ability to properly and thoroughly document incidents, processes and procedures.
