JOB SUMMARY Responsible to the Medical Imaging Department for the performance of all receptionist and registration functions. Responsible to Medical Imaging for providing accurate and quality service to physicians, patients and staff. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service. REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or GED with related receptionist experience.

Previous experience with office equipment and secretarial duties required.

Ability to correctly spell, file, and type 45 words per minute.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES

Interviews patients for demographic and insurance data, which is keyed into CRT for patient registrations, schedules patients for examinations.

Acts as a receptionist in the waiting area.

Communicates with family, physicians and patients.

Operates equipment safely.

Performs other duties as assigned.
