Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is hiring a Digital Systems Architect who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC at WPAFB, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Support acquisition strategy development for new engine, modification, or retrofit requirements and applications, and incorporate acquisition streamlining processes.
  • Prepare plans and documentation required to participate in the Material Development Decision (MDD), the pre-/post-Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP), source selection activity and the Milestone A, B and C decision processes (DoDI 5000.2).
  • Prepare, review and edit compliant acquisition documentation in the various phases of life cycle management.
  • Review documentation for programmatic considerations and issues and recommend solutions/improvements.
  • Develop and prepare briefings in required format to provide program status for review and approval by Government program manager as needed.
  • Arrange and support various program actions, including IPT actions, to include meeting attendance and preparation of meeting minutes.
  • Accomplish engineering tasks necessary to support management operations functions within AFLCMC, applying expert knowledge and mastery of advanced engineering theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods to ensure assigned projects remain consistent with program objectives, costs, schedules, performance criteria, and existing policies.
  • Be familiar with DoD, Air Force and lower level policy, publications, supplements, and manuals (e.g., DoDI 5000.2) as well as other (e.g. AFMC and AFLCMC) applicable acquisition and engineering documents and regulations, systems, criteria, processes and guides, as required.
  • Advise Program Office and Engineering leadership in the process of developing, refining and implementing a systems engineering reference architecture for complex systems
  • Attend meetings, generate plans, author documents, and participate in and provide advice and direction to a consortium of major defense contractors developing and implementing systems architecture, style guides, and all appropriate interface control models.
  • Communicate clearly with technical representatives from industry members of the consortium as well as with government stakeholders managing the direction and decisions of the consortium.
  • Have an active role in all activities required to define a common style guide, determine the appropriate level of component model fidelity for inclusion in high level system models, and develop refine and implement a common reference architecture for use by consortium participants.

Qualifications

  • Clearance: Top Secret or ability to obtain a Top Secret
  • B.S. in engineering - Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering are acceptable, other education evaluated case-by-case.
  • Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in systems engineering of complex systems with at least 3 years of specific experience with SySML modeling, architecture development and implementation.
  • Mastery of SySML standards, modeling tools, and implementation of system architecture modeling with real world systems
  • Specific experience with Cameo Systems Modeler and requirements management in DOORS highly preferred.
  • Experience with Siemens Team Center preferred
