Summary:
The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all distribution center activities performed on their shift. Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work. Lead inbound/outbound operations to meet all Safety, Inventory and Productivity KPI’s.
What You'll Do:Must behave consistently with the Company’s Core Competencies, Polices, Procedures, guidelines, and focus on safetyParticipate in all aspects of hiring new employees. Train, assign, and direct work. Complete performance reviews, and disciplines and/or address complaints and resolve employee issuesSupervise and coordinate the functions of departments in an orderly manner to achieve the highest possible levels of accuracy and productivityEnsure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment and maintain the security of the Distribution CenterEnsure inbound and/or outbound shipments and products are accurate and free of damageCoordinate activities related to receiving, shipping, picking and packing of inventory and non-inventory itemsEstablish work schedules, ensure that jobs are correctly implemented, assigned effectively, and completed properlyComplete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Utilize Workforce Management System (WMS) metrics, reporting and other tools to increase warehouse productivity. Evaluate policies and procedures to improve efficiency and make recommendations for improvementOther duties as assigned
