There is a preference for those living within a 50-mile radius of these locations, other locations throughout the continental United States may be considered for remote work. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Position Overview:Eaton Corporation is seeking an Early Talent Program Manager to join our Talent Acquisition Organization. The Early Talent Program Management team supports the company’s strategic goal of developing early talent through curated programs so to ensure Eaton has a pipeline of future leaders within the organization. Reporting directly to the head of the Early Talent, you will actively partner with executive sponsors, stakeholders and participants to design, implement and continuously improve our early talent Human Resources Leadership Development Program and Finance Leadership Development Program, while also working closely with the corresponding internship programs.In this role you will leverage your expertise in these following key areas:Strategy:

Use expertise to guide program strategy to deliver specific, challenging, and high-quality assignments to participants of the development program.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the program, and work with the Early Talent leadership team + Steering Committees to design and deploy those improvements.

Engage executive sponsors, functional leads, and steering committees to support program objectives (producing future leaders at Eaton).

Develop a framework and action plan to execute the program strategy. Including but not limited to leadership training, strategy and headcount planning, budget (forecasting/profit plan management), functional curriculum, mentor program, overall program experience and quality.

Talent Development:

Partner with business and functional HR and Talent Management to understand critical pipelines, business strategies, and future skillset and pipeline needs that will inform recruiting strategies on campus and at conferences.

Provide a framework of resources for program participants including a training curriculum, coaching and feedback on current skills, strengths, development need for their current role, as well as building future leadership capabilities.

Accountable for the participant's experience throughout the program working back with the steering committee and assignment manager to ensure adherence to program quality guidelines.

Ensure participant’s participation in program leadership and functional skill development programming.

Coach assignment managers on strong goal setting, expectation setting, conducting performance reviews, and ongoing performance feedback to participants. Ensure Early Talent policies and procedures are in place as it pertains to performance.

Develop a robust offboarding approach to ensure long term success for program participants.

Talent Assessment and Selection:

Co-develop recruiting and campus strategies with University Relations to attract top talent through university partnerships & diversity events.

Assessment and selection of early talent candidates for internships and leadership programs.

Drive consensus discussions to select top talent for both interns and the leadership development program and work with HR Services and University Relations on offer process.

Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.

Minimum of 7 years of professional work experience in HR, Engineering, Sales or Program Management.

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s Degree or MBA.

3 years of manager of people or leadership experience.

Experience developing strategies or leading change management initiatives.

Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders.

Proven experience assessing and selecting high performing talent in the early career and/or professional level.

Skills:

Ability to recruit, assess & select top talent.

Learning agility with ability to problem solve and provide creative solutioning.

Strong communication and effective relationship management.

Understanding of performance management and demonstrated coaching skills necessary to help drive high performance.

Ability to work in fast paced complex environment.

Understanding of how leaders develop.

Experience with change management processes and projects.

Ability to achieve outcomes, review metrics and measure on-going review of processes for continuous improvement.

Ability to travel up to 25%
