Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Lead FP&A Financial Analyst to join our team. This position can be based at our Beachwood, OH; Moon Township, PA; or Syracuse, NY facilities (relocation provided). Remote or tele- work is also an option for this role, depending upon candidate location. The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the Electrical Sector HQ finance and accounting processes, and for supporting the Electrical Sector Global Financial Planning & Analysis Leader in preparing timely and effective analysis and financial reporting for Electrical Sector leadership. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours.Essential Responsibilities:You will lead all finance and accounting processes for the Electrical Sector HQ ledgers, and act as the primary finance business partner to the Senior VPs of each functionYou will prepare Electrical Sector HQ consolidated commentary and variance analysis following each month-end and rolling forecast and be a key contributor to the Electrical Sector’s annual Profit Plan process.You will oversee a team of two shared service analysts responsible for the month end close process and ensure all relevant transactions are reflected in Oracle and Encore for the Electrical HQ ledgersYou will support and provide consistent and effective feedback to the Electrical Sector’s operating groups and their FP&A managers regarding performance in Sector headquarters ledgersYou will participate in BPI and continuous improvement teams as necessary. Establish and maintain an environment of cooperation, standardization, and sharing across the Electrical Sector’s operating groups.You will proactively identify, recommend, and implement enhanced methods and procedures to improve financial reporting and management processes.You will support internal control / SOX requirements for Electrical Sector. This includes reviewing balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis, and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures and applicable Eaton financial policies.You will collaborate with the Electrical Sector’s Engineering leadership as the finance business partner for the centrally managed Sector Engineering Centers of Excellence (COEs). This includes partnering in the evaluation of projects and investments, as well as understanding and accurately forecasting R&D expenses made at the Sector level.
