Description:
Looking for a Technician that has a mix of both mechanical and electrical experience
Perform wiring and assembly functions to add various components to finished PCBs and harnesses
Build/incorporate motors, encoders, and switches onto electrical products
Also add mechanical components like belts, machined parts, fasteners and greases
Electrical work may be terminating a wiring harness or checking continuity
Majority mechanical work, using hand tools like calipers and torque wrenches to produce a complex final assembly
May perform some preliminary testing, however more often this person is passing their work to the Testing team
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting experience
Experience with any of the following components is a plus: motors, encoders, switches, belts, machined parts, fasteners, wiring harness
Experience using hand tools like calipers and wrenches
