Job Title: Electronic Engineering TechnicianJob DescriptionSUMMARY: Works within the Electrical Engineering Department. Performs a variety of Electrical Engineering Technician work in machine wiring and control panel building. Working closely with the engineering team to build, wire, and troubleshoot new and used equipment making PLC, HMI, and Electrical drawing edits. Able to assist plants in troubleshooting new and used machines. Occasional travel to plants to support installations and provide guidance to maintenance technicians. JOB DUTIES: - Review and understand electrical drawings for machine control panels which include: Enclosure, subpanel, schematics & BOM - Layout, assemble and wire electrical panels to UL508A specifications - Assemble panels and wire machinery to NFPA 79A specifications - Make electrical drawing edits in AutoCAD - Perform runoff of control panels and equipment - Load/Edit PLC programs - Load/Edit HMI programs - Load/Edit VFD programs - Provide plant support (troubleshooting machines) by phone and onsite when needed - Ability to remote connect to machines for troubleshootingHard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Hamilton, Ohio.Work EnvironmentThis position will be working at their New Miami facility near Hamilton, OH. There are currently 5 other people on this team and this position is a new addition. This will be 5 days in the office (no hybrid) and very rarely weekend work. Candidates should expect to work 5-10 hours of OT each week that is paid 1.5x OT. This position will also require up to 30% travel to other facilities. Realistically the travel will be much less than this but candidates need to be capable of traveling 30%. Typical travel is leaving on a Monday and returning on Friday, but realistically it is shorter trips. Very rarely are they traveling for more than 5 days at a time.
