AECOM is seeking a Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to be based in Akron, OH.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks related to municipal wastewater treatment design and construction administration activities. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.Work under supervision of a project manager, contract administrator and/or senior-level team memberParticipate in contract administration services during the construction of wastewater infrastructure and facilities.Perform municipal wastewater treatment plant site investigations, data collection and analysis activities.Prepare technical memoranda, contribute to preliminary and detailed design reports.Prepare permitting applications for local regulatory agencies.Participate in wastewater engineering/process design activities including preparation of design calculations, equipment sizing and selection, process layouts, engineering specifications and cost estimates.Work collaboratively on multidisciplinary design teams and assist with coordination tasks.
