The primary functions of this position are: 1) repair hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication components for machinery and equipment at Triad facility, 2) diagnose, repair, and rebuild pumps, motors, crimpers, cylinders, and other hydraulic and pneumatic components 3) Able to research component parts, quote and communicate with customers on daily basis. This is a full-time position, M – F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Complete a thorough assessment of repair for quoting purposes
Read and comprehended hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication schematics.
Observe all safety guidelines. Recognize electrical disconnect(s) and verify power is off before working on any system per Triad safety guidelines. Discharge system using manual unloading valve before commencing work.
Determine the general layout of circuit and install components accordingly.
Research parts needed for repair at hand.
Quote out repair and communicate timely and effectively with customer
Replace worn or damaged hydraulic components such as oil lines, fittings, cylinders, valves, gaskets and seals.
Disassemble hydraulic systems and remove or replace defective motors, pumps, valving and actuators, etc. once customer approved.
Test and visually inspect completed installations by examining all components, fluid lines and guarding. Observe and listen to operating machinery to detect any malfunctions if applicable.
Read indicators such as pressure gauges, flow meters and temperature gauges to analyze system performance.
Must ensure that final repair is completed with highest degree of safety and quality integrity.
Determine if the repair is warranty and communicate that with customer

Skills & Experience
High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience and/or training.
Knowledge of fittings, cylinders, valves, actuators, gaskets, and motors.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in both written and oral form.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to both customers and other employees in the organization.
Basic computer skills are required.
Must score 70 percent or better on the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Assessment
Must be able to maneuver, with assistance, up to 500 pounds when maneuvering repair products around. Must be able to handle products/components up to 100 pounds.
Must have own personal tools to use.
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Enerpac Certification required upon hire (1 week of repair classes in Columbus, WI.)
