Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Executive Assistant within the Local Government industry, situated in YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio, United States. This role involves providing comprehensive support to the Finance Department and the Finance Director, and requires a proactive individual who is capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.Responsibilities: Manage and compile documents for bi-weekly Board of Control meetings Ensure timely communication with all internal departments for effective information flow Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain meeting agendas Provide direct assistance to the Finance Director, ensuring efficient operations Handle phone inquiries for the Finance Department, providing accurate information and assistance Manage customer interactions at the department window, ensuring a positive experience Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions Utilize software tools such as Concur, CRM, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, About Time for efficient management of tasks Manage the Finance Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments as required Prepare and manage important documents and correspondence as needed. Requirements Must have experience in a local government setting Proficient in using Concur, CRM, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and About Time software Strong skills in calendar management Ability to handle correspondence and documentation effectively Experience in C-Suite level support Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work within a team and independently Must have strong problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information discreetly Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience in project management is a plus Must have a proactive and positive attitude towards work Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
