Experienced Tower Painter

Utility Service & Maintenance Inc. is a Painting Contractor that specializes in the preparation and painting of energized high voltage electrical transmission towers.

We are looking for experienced tower painters with a minimum of 2 years’ climbing and painting experience. Competitive wages, per diem, and mileage paid.

Tower Painter Job Duties:

Painting of energized / live high voltage electrical transmission towers.

Applying paint with the use of brushes and/or rollers.

Wearing and using your PPE (personal protective equipment). Climbing & Painting using 100% double lanyard tie off fall protection.

Following company corporate health & safety rules and procedures. Be a team player, hard worker, self-motivated, and punctual.

Attention to detail and ability to provide a good quality job.

Comfortable working on heights over 100 ft. Working outdoors, and ability to travel

Qualifications:

Must have the knowledge, experience, proper training and ability required to safely paint high voltage electrical transmission towers with the energized lines ranging from 69kV (69,000 volts) to 500kV.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to pass drug screen.

Safety Training – Basic Plus and NFPA 70 Safety Classes required.

Must have dependable transportation.
