Recon Supervisor

Reporting to an Area or Fixed Operations Manager, the

Recon Supervisor position is responsible for supporting and facilitating the delivery of DW services at an assigned fixed site location. Primary duties include prioritizing and tracking vehicle flow, completing accurate invoices, supporting supplies management, and ensuring repair quality.

Operations
  • Support and facilitate processes to maximize facility capacity.
  • Keep team informed as to daily priorities and expectations.
  • Ensure team has ample supplies and proper equipment to deliver timely and quality repairs.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs meet/exceed standards.
  • Manage all supplies and controlling waste while keeping sufficient stock.
  • Communicate with manager as to any pertinent situation/opportunity and help create a plan to address.
  • Support compliance requirements to ensure a workplace clean and safe working environment.
  • People
  • Create a positive, productive working environment consistent with Dent Wizard's Core Values.
  • Work with technicians to create a team-oriented working environment where everyone supports DW's objectives.
  • Work with manager to ensure proper staffing levels to meet customer demand.
  • Facilitate new hire on-boarding to ensure smooth transition into the team and organization.

Customer Relations
  • Build effective customer relationships to maximize revenue, expand services and create a partnership.
  • Proactively address quality, cycle time and/or other customer concerns.
  • Promote DW's reconditioning services and people in a positive, professional manner.
  • Provide repair estimates as requested.
  • Administrative
  • Prioritize, manage, and track vehicle workflow for location.
  • Manage parts ordering and receipt and ensure actual parts are delivered.
  • Ensure invoices tie to Repair/Work Orders and secure POs.
  • Support supplies ordering and inventory maintenance.
  • Quality check all finished repairs to ensure standards are met/exceeded.

Qualifications
  • Outstanding communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Paint, body shop, PDR or reconditioning skills a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and/or implement processes.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
