Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a motivated and skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in the retail industry, located in Strongsville, Ohio. This role focuses on maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity and is primarily based on-site.Responsibilities: Managing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable Conducting daily banking activities and bank reconciliations Utilizing accounting software systems for data entry and record keeping Leveraging Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites for various accounting functions Providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analysis Monitoring and maintaining project expenses reports Assisting in process improvements within the accounting department Managing day-to-day financial operations Ensuring compliance with state revenue service requirements Maintaining orderly financial filing systemRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook Ability to perform Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently Retail industry experience would be advantageous Full Charge Bookkeeper experience is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
