Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in CINCINNATI, Ohio, in the role of a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This role is vital to our day-to-day operations and long-term growth strategy. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with overseeing all fiscal operations, including fund accounting, accounts payable & receivables, purchasing, budgeting & audit compliance. This role will provide a challenging and rewarding experience in the industry.BotResponsibilities: Supervise daily financial activities such as fund accounting, invoicing, procurement, budgeting, and auditing compliance. Oversee functions of the Tax Department. Manage annual budget formulation and its presentation to the county. Monitor income and cash reserves to ensure enough proceeds, including transfers, reconciliation, and reporting. Perform monthly settlement of all cash accounts. Participate in monthly and various other scheduled committee meetings. Organize agenda, document minutes, and announce approved ordinances and resolutions for meetings. Handle bi-weekly payroll preparation and related payroll taxation filing on a bi-weekly and monthly basis. Devise policies & procedures for procurement, invoice processing, revenue receipts, auditing, and so forth. Generate yearly financial statements and related information and supervise the auditing procedure.Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in Accounting Principles and Accounting Software Systems Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Automated Payroll and Certified Payroll systems Familiarity with Indirect Purchasing processes Experienced in conducting Auditing and overseeing Fiscal Operations Proficiency in Bookkeeping and related Bookkeeping Functions Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and precision Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Must have a strong ethical stance on financial management and transparency.
