Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in MIDDLETOWN, Ohio, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with all aspects of bookkeeping, from managing financial reporting to coordinating preparation of regulatory reporting and tax returns. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring quality control over financial transactions. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive bookkeeping tasks including managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, inventory tracking, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Oversee the financial reporting of the company, creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts. Ensure quality control over all financial transactions and financial reporting. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax returns. Utilize QuickBooks proficiently to maintain records, track expenditures, generate invoices, and produce financial reports. Balance and maintain accurate ledgers, and develop periodic reports for management. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and taxing authorities to resolve any discrepancies or issues. Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role Proficiency in Full Charge Bookkeeping is required Experience with QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online is essential Must have a solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Ability to accurately perform Journal Entries is required Strong organizational and multitasking skills are preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills are desirable Must have the ability to work independently and be self-motivated Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
