This is an internship position and compensation will be given accordingly.QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.Minimum Qualifications:The candidate must be pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.6+ months experience on below areas:

Computer architecture and system-level optimizations.

Processing pipeline, foundational models, RAG systems, embedding models, KV Cache Optimizations, Model Quantization, AutoML, etc.

Generative AI/LLMs, Machine Learning

ML toolkits/FW such as PyTorch etc.

Python/C and/or experience in optimizing algorithms and/or experience in LLM Optimizations.

Scientific inquiry - ability to develop hypothesis and carry out research independently.

This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
