Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Hardware Support role in Akron, Ohio. This role primarily revolves around the technology industry, particularly focusing on computer hardware and firmware. The position requires on-site presence and involves significant interaction with Apple devices and operating systems. Responsibilities: Pairing Ray band glasses with iPads to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Handling firmware upgrades and maintaining the firmware's efficiency. Delivering support for Mac Computers and the Mac OS, ensuring smooth operations. Assisting with cable installation and ensuring it meets required standards. Utilizing skills in Active Directory for managing networked resources. Managing computer hardware, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting any issues. Providing solutions for any technical issues related to Apple devices. Maintaining meticulous records to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Requirements Proficient in Computer Hardware Experience with Active Directory Knowledge of Apple Devices Proficiency in Cable Installation Familiarity with Firmware and Firmware upgrades Experience with Mac Computers and Mac OS Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Strong customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
