Centene is a diversified, national organization offering competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose: This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, resolution and oversight of waiver incident reporting at member level and organizational level. The primary functions will include waiver incident reporting education, incident reporting, incident investigation, incident processing and closure. This position ensures Buckeye’s compliance with our Three-Way and Provider Contract along with the Ohio Administrative Code and CMS regulations delegated to Buckeye through the MyCare Ohio Waiver administered through the MMP in Ohio and other required Incident Reporting in Medical Management as outlined our MCO/MCOP Provider Agreements. The MyCare Ohio Waiver is a 1915 c waiver approved by CMS for Ohio. Development, implementation and maintenance of initial and ongoing education as it pertains to Waiver Incident Reporting from start to finish. Identification and processing of reported waiver incidents as applicable and in alignment with state/federal regulations (Abuse, neglect, misappropriation, exploitation, health and welfare, among others) Oversight of Waiver Incident Management with state contracted investigation organization. Coordination of waiver incidents that do not fall to the stated contracted investigation organization. Inclusive of prevention plan evaluation and resolution. Audit Waiver Incidents to assure compliance and alignment for annual state/federal audit.Education/Experience: Associate’s degree required in a field of Nursing, Social Work and/or Counseling. Two years of experience required.
