Job Description At Motion the Hose & Fitting Specialists (Account Representatives) have the knowledge and skills to provide customers' industrial, hydraulic, Teflon, metal and composite hose needs. Work with local outside sales people to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
Independently pursue OEM accounts to identify, quote, engineer, and close product solution sales
Provide technical support and educate customers, and inside and outside sales staff about hose products
Work with Branch sales managers to provide business planning to reach product sales goals
Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support outside sales
Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintain satisfaction
Maintain appropriate relationship with key suppliers
Qualifications
Sales and engineering knowledge of hose products with a focus on industrial and hydraulic and related products
History of strong sales performance with emphasis on growth in new opportunities
Good customer service and communication skills
Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
Moderate computer skills, including communicating internally and externally via e-mail
Ability to multitask and manage time well
Minimum of 2 years of hose product sales experience
