Based in Denver, CO, you’ll be trained to perform a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, calibration, diagnosis, inspection, and repair of the equipment, instruments, processes and support systems of an industrial water and/or wastewater treatment facility; and provide guidance and direction to plant operators, mechanics and industrial technicians. You’ll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to challenges that may arise in the facilities. Experience with industrial production techniques and industrial equipment
Understanding of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data management software
Certification at a level required by the State in which the project is located, or able to obtain certification
A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Some post high school education related to industrial water/wastewater utility operations and maintenance
Familiarity with industrial water/wastewater treatment plant operations, valves, pumps, motors, and sample testing. Safe work practices. Safety is a core value at Jacobs. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
