TOP Consulting is looking for an Informatica IICS Developer to join our team. Qualified candidates will have over 5 years of experience in Data Management / ETL / ELT / Data Warehousing and 3 years of experience with Informatica IICS. We are looking for a resource that is a self-starter and committed to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- develop data pipelines to ingest source data into the Data Platform using relational drivers as well as application delivered APIs. Build ETL to centralize data into the Data Vault environment.
- Develop, unit test and system test integration components.
- Create support documentation describing the functionality of the integrations.
- Provide feedback to Data Architects on the scalability of data models.
- Maintain consistency in naming standards and ensure standards are followed.
- Develop stored procedures, user defined functions in SQL Server using secure coding techniques that guard against SQL injection attacks.
- Ensure adherence to data management/governance policies, processes, and standards.
- Develop reconciliation & balancing scripts between source applications and the data platform to track accuracy of data loads.
- Develop parameterized rollback scripts to restore prior batches in case of errors in data loads.
- 5 - 7 years of prior IT experience in Data Management / ETL / ELT / Data Warehousing. Proven experience with Data Management & Integration.
- Experience developing integrations using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS – CDI Service) is required.
- Experience in sourcing data using application delivered APIs. Understanding of API behavior, security, paging etc. is required.
- Experience in integrating multiple sources into a centralized data platform or Enterprise Data Warehouse.
- Experience in integrating data into Data Vault models, Star Schemas, Normalized Data Models.
- Experience using Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) such as Informatica Intelligent Cloud (IICS), Jitterbit Harmony, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- 5+ years of in-depth experience working with a wide variety of RDBMS (SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Oracle etc.). Experience in writing Stored Procedures, Secure coding with safeguards against SQL injection attacks.
- Experience working with structured, semi-structured.
- Experience in working with traditional structured rowstore data, semi-structured and dynamic schemas such as XML, JSON.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
