Description: Job Title: Inspection ARequisition ID: AS20212107-65878Location: Batavia, OH Shift: Days 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-ThursdayDescription:Follows standardized methods in repetitive sampling using IPC J-STD-001G requirements for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies. Must be J-STD-001G certified or must be able to obtain certification within 6-weeks. Shall have the ability to identify solder defects and perform necessary solder rework after training. Must Learn to work from complex -blueprints, inspection specifications and verbal or written instructions after training.Duties and Responsibilities after Training:Required to stand at AOI inspection station for up to 10 hrs./day
Required to sit and perform solder inspection/rework for up to 10 hrs./day
Required to work under 4X/10X magnification for up to 10 hrs./day
Expected to complete X-Ray and Radiation training
Solder review
Accept/reject decisions on nonconformances
Run advanced testers
Utilize basic computer skills to complete various progress checks
Utilize basic computer skills to access digital forms and directions
Repetitive soldering inspections
Blueprint reading and interpretation
Variable inspections
Variable gauging (micrometers, calipers, indicator with stand)
Close out shop orders for program or detailed plan
Create NCs
Basic comparator with chart
Basic AQL
Other Duties as Assigned
Basic Qualifications
Requires minimal job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
Must have the ability to learn the use of such precision measuring instruments as: - micrometers, verniers, depth- gauges, gauge blocks, sine bars and comparators. Must have the ability to learn techniques required to complete solder rework. Must Learn to work from complex -blueprints, inspection specifications and verbal or written instructions after training.
