Description Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an Internal Audit Testor to support a contract (potential contract to hire) engagement with a large Financial Services client in Westerville, OH. This role is primarily involved in internal control testing and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations in the financial services industry. The position will commence with an onsite presence in the first week, transitioning to a hybrid work model thereafter. Responsibilities: Independently assess the design and effectiveness of controls executed by Corporate Functions and Lines of Business through monitoring and testing activities Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as external laws, rules and regulations Identify any remediation that is required and take appropriate action Execute issue validations to ensure effectiveness of action plans implemented by Corporate Functions and Lines of Business Collaborate with Compliance and Operational Risk Officers on engagements including developing test scripts, issue discussions, business meetings and drafting of final reports Use independent judgment as well as technical, operational, and regulatory experience to perform tasks Work effectively with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills Manage multiple tasks, prioritize workflow and meet deadlines under pressure with minimal supervision Make sound decisions, including escalation where appropriate Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in Internal Audit or related field Demonstrated expertise in Control Testing Proficiency in SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Prior experience in Financial Services is required Strong understanding of Financial Control procedures Experience in Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Professional certification such as CIA or CPA is preferred.
