Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Supervisor of Inventory Control, ensure the accuracy of all inventory records and reports.Duties and Responsibilities
Must have the ability to operate a forklift.
Physically count and put away all material going into the reblend area. Pull, count & record all material leaving the reblend area.
Perform daily cycle counts.
Perform location audits.
Update locations in SAP.
Prepare, code, and enter inventory transfers to record miscellaneous inventory activity.
Investigate discrepancies and report findings to management.
Perform other activities as needed.

Must be physically and mentally fit for duty.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Dependable and able to maintain the attendance required to perform the job.
Ability to read, write, comprehend and fully understand: SOPs, SDSs, labeling, safety and health regulations, and procedures within the job, this job group and the plant.
Ability to operate computerized equipment, read scales, recognize product problems, malfunctions and patterns out of specification.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous inventory experience.
Be organized and detail oriented.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Be able to reconcile inventory counts (be analytical).
Good personal relation skills.
Ability to operate forklift.
Working Environment
The job is in a dusty and dirty environment.
Working in a hot and/or cold environment.
Shift varies from early morning start, evenings and weekends.
Required to wear respirator, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to qualify for and wear a respirator.
Must be able to stand and walk for long period of time.
Must be able to operate forklift.
The job requires a to work lifting, pulling, pushing, turning, stacking and carrying 55 pounds of unstable bags, drums, cartons, and pails consistently and frequently, therefore the candidate must be fit for duty.
