IT Business Analyst in Findlay, OH. This is a long-term contract opportunity with probability of extensions and/or hire. This is a great opportunity to have a long-term career, not just have a job.The IT Business Analyst is part of a collaborative IT Enterprise Asset Maintenance team that partners directly with the Refining Maintenance business unit. This team is responsible for providing and supporting technology solutions (both vendor and homegrown).RESPONSBILITIES- Ability to facilitate, capture, and translate business requirements from business partners.
- Ability to develop rapport with business partners performing various levels of business analysis, application integration, testing, and solution delivery.
- Ability to learn technical application expertise and effectively support day-to-day business questions, issues, needs, and plans.
- Ability to interface with IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security around client/server/application touchpoints.
- 2+ years of Business Analyst experience specifically working with development teams on software applications and troubleshooting application issues.
- Ability to write SQL queries is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team collaboration/partnering skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Findlay, OH.
- Experience with SQL queries, reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, etc.), and/or development skills (.NET, HTML, etc.).
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Experience troubleshooting, testing, deploying, upgrading, and enhancing vendor applications.
