Department Overview: Speedway's IT Enterprise Integration Team is responsible building and maintaining integrations services to manage our data transfers between our Speedway internal systems, external partners and 3rd party services. We leverage 3rd Party integration tools such as Dell Boomi, to develop, manage and deploy API's and Integrations across the company. You will have access to managers of various agile and waterfall teams, as well as professional developers, architects, and project managers working together in our Integration environments.

About the Program: The goal of our IT Development program is to expose an intern to different agile teams within our organization, provide opportunity to work with our Integration Services team on project requests, and foster development skills that will serve well as a full-time programmer upon graduation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and implement Integration solutions using Boomi API Management and Boomi Integration developer software suite of tools
  • Work with business operations, application developers, and the different production teams to identify business needs and implementation options.
  • Work in a base level support environment

Job Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Able to live and work near corporate headquarters in the Dayton, Ohio area for the duration of the internship experience.
  • Experience or exposure to scripting languages such as Groovy or Java Script
