Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an IT Support Specialist: III (Senior) in Columbus, Ohio. This role primarily focuses on modifying existing software/application programs and creating new ones to meet user and management needs. The individual will work in a support role, contributing to the resolution of issues occurring in production systems and participating in both formal and informal training programs.Responsibilities Develop, test, integrate, and operate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Blue Prism and other RPA technologies. Collaborate with onshore and offshore developers in the operation of the environment. Assist in the training and mentoring of other team members. Coordinate with internal technology teams and outside vendors to diagnose and resolve issues. Maintain and support servers and virtual machines running the environment. Participate in the definition of requirements and completion of proof of concepts. Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and practices applicable to the organization. Adhere to all team and corporate standards and guidelines. Work independently as well as in a team setting, demonstrating the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Expertise in training, policy-making, and maintaining quality standards. Demonstrated experience in design, vendor management, and IT consulting. Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues with efficiency and precision. Knowledge in automation and implementation of best industry practices. Proficiency in JavaScript and other relevant programming languages. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in integration of various IT systems and platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and server management. Proven track record of resolving IT issues in a timely manner. Experience with Web App development and management. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain detail-oriented relationships. Ability to produce deliverables on time and within specified parameters. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Degree in computer sciences or a related field is a must. Knowledge of desktop hardware and ability to diagnose and resolve related issues. Experience in interpreting and working with business requirement documents. Proven ability to diagnose IT related problems and provide effective solutions. Experience in developing and implementing effective IT training programs.
