- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java
- Good at writing clean, modular, readable, and testable Java code
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework, a good understanding of REST API principles and best practices
- Experience building Microservices
- Experience writing streaming applications with Apache Kafka or similar messaging technology
- Proficient in working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with automated testing: unit, integration, regression
- Proficient with CI/CD practices and production deployment
- Experience developing in AWS Cloud Platform
- Experience with Container (Docker) and Container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Experience with performance and monitoring tools
- Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
- Experience with Agile development methodologies: Scrum
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
