Lab Technician

Lab Technician Opportunity:

7am-4pm Monday – Friday, no weekends

entry level role with a great company

Description:

Performs laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aid.

Prepare and paint panels

Performs laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards.

Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition.

Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.

Formulate Paints

Documentation, data analysis

Some testing may be very routine

Running Physical tests on paints

Running wet chemistry tests like viscosity, pH, titrations

Pouring and mixing paints

Work in larger team

Skills:laboratory, Chemistry, Wet chemistry, Titration, Quality control, Gmp, Chemical, coatingQualifications:

Any Science degree is okay, as long as you have taken General Chemistry I & II with labs

Highly prefer coatings experience but open to strong candidates without that experience

Organic Chemistry coursework is a plus

Attention to detail, professional.

Should have basic lab knowledge and understand how to perform basic lab test.
