Laundry Distributor

The Laundry Distributor performs a variety of tasks on varying shifts, including collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading machines, and folding clean linen.Position RequirementsCounts and records the linen processed each day.

Makes proper deliveries to units.

Cleans and sanitizes the work area, including machines, work tables, and sorting area.

Delivers personal clothing to the appropriate resident.

Essential FunctionsResponsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned linen according to schedule.

Responsible for the safe and proper use of detergents and adheres to all safety precautions.

Operates washer and dryers.

Performs laundry activities within well-established guidelines to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.

Reports equipment/cleaning product needs and/or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.

Physical DemandsMedium work: Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally; and/or up to 20lbs frequently; and/or up to 10lbs constantly.Educational, Licensure, & Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience preferred.
