About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineering who covers jobs which design, build, enhance, and integrate the technology infrastructure required to support various platforms and Wells Fargo's business portfolio.In this role, you will:

Operationally support the Wells Fargo applications that utilize Enterprise messaging platforms (MQ/WMB/Solace/Kafka)

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications

Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure

Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals

Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future

Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors

Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices

Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements

Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success

Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Interact with customer and vendor

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

5+ years hands on experience with Mainframe zOS

Experience designing and working with Enterprise Mainframe applications and technology which includes: Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, Cics, RPG, DB2, IMS, and other MF technologies

Experience with MQ Administration Unix, Linux, Mainframe

Experience with DLQ Handler and understanding of logs - CHIN/MSTR/TRG1

Provides MQ support to include production support, project management, design and testing support, change management, monitoring and disaster recovery (zOS - BCP/BDF/Region Swap)

Experience in Security - RACF on the mainframe

Desired Qualifications:

Strong team or technical leadership experience

Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment.

Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area.

Confluent Kafka experience including issue analysis, build and maintain message configurations, communicate best practices.

Solace experience

Provide implementation support for key risk initiatives.

Understanding Incident Management System (ServiceNow preferred)

Monitoring Alerts, Batch Failures, Service Now Queue.

Understanding of Infrastructure Technologies like Linux, Windows, MW, Database

Handle outage calls efficiently, triage any issues, and fix them.

Experience in Ansible, and UDeploy

Experience with types of Jobs Failures and Troubleshooting

Shell Commands

Linux Administration Basics

Basic Networking Commands

Understanding the Networking topology, Load Balancers such as F5/AVI
