- Strong experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as a Systems/Infrastructure Database Administrator required
- Solid experience working with Oracle versions 11gR1/2, 12c, 19C in a Linux environment.
- Strong experience in migrating multiterabyte databases.
- Strong experience in characterset migrations.
- Strong experience in Performance tuning.
- Design and implement database migration strategies from on-premise to AWS platform.
- Optimize database performance and ensure high availability of databases on AWS.
- Implement and manage database security, including encryption and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with AWS and industry best practices for database management.
- Experience with Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance is a plus.
- Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels)
- Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), CDB/PDB, Automatic Storage Management (ASM), Active Data Guard, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Golden Gate replication.
- Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) on ZDLRA.
- Proficiency in installing and configuring complex database management system environments, creating and maintaining databases as well as backup and recovery
- Demonstrated ability to implement automated process to improve database system reliability
- Skill at troubleshooting complex problems
- Background in IT infrastructure, including systems, storage or network administration,
- Proficient development skills in a dynamic programming language such as Python, Javascript, .NET, Perl, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting. Also experience with Microservices is desirable. Experience of Ansiable, Chef and Puppet are desirable.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile development methodology

- Somebody who has at least 12+ years of work experience as Oracle DBA
- Education qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
