Our CompanyWestern Reserve Medical Group OverviewAs a member of our Western Reserve Medical Group (WRMG) team, the Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the organization of our medical facility’s functions. The Clinical Coordinator will also support day-to-day operations by providing clinical care to practitioners and ensure high quality customer service for our partner facilities and patients. ResponsibilitiesManages patient and clinical care activities

Communicates patient care services with Clinical and Management teams

Coordinates optimum patient care resources with all clinical disciplines

Answers telephone inquiries from patients and others as well as screens calls to determine nature and urgency of inquiry

Refers calls as appropriate and/or schedules appointments with practitioners

Obtains patient histories and insurance approvals as required

Updates medical charts and enters patient data into files and automated databases

Arranges for prescribed laboratory tests, specialist referrals, diagnostic procedures, medication orders, and/or other prescribed patient care aids as directed

Provides day-to-day administrative duties for staff in the offices

Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and serviceability of office facilities and equipment

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED

Licensed Practical Nurse license

Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
