Machine Operator Helper

Job Description:Candidate will be working at the end of an extrusion lineThis is a fast pace extrusion line where they will be counting the wall base boards and putting them into a box for shippingThese positions require hand eye coordination and ability to stand on their feet all dayWorking off of a production schedule each dayRepeatedly lifting 30-50lbsThis job is also very repetitive- they may be standing on the same line throughout the entire shift and completing the same taskStacking product in boxes and taping the boxes shutChecking products with gauge to ensure quality standards are being met and color is correctAssist operator in change oversWill be determining scrap material and unloading it from the machine and taking it to the grinder to be repurposedSome of the product is wound into a coil for shipping- it is rolled off of the machine and automatically cut and needs to be rolled and placed in a box and prepared for shippingDocumentation will be required once they have completed ordersQualifications:Must be able to work 12 hour shiftsMust be able to lift 30-50lbs repeatedlyMust have basic math skillsMust be able to work overtime as neededHours:Training on 1st shift then moving to 6pm-6am rotating schedule (4 days on 4 days off)Preferred Skills:Production WorkManufacturingMachine OperatorAssemblyPackagerPackerWarehouseShippingExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
