Maintenance Mechanic1st shift - 7 - 4Pay $25 - $29 Description: Maintain, Repair, and rebuild production machinery and equipment. Starts machines and equipment to test performance, troubleshoots, and makes adjustments to functional parts and control instruments. Performs a variety of skilled tasks including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and welding and fabrication. Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of plant including some water systems, pneumatic, conveyance, etc. Performs indoor room additions and modifications, minor building repairs inside and out. And outdoor maintenance. Maintains detailed records and prepares communications as needed. Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed. Assures conformance with all safety. 80% PMs and 20% Reactive maintenance Minor electrical – working with 24V 120V 240V Troubleshooting drives and motors – 3 phase primarilyFreezers get down to -4 degrees - Very rarely need to go in there most maintenance on these are outsourcedNo use of coolant / very little oil and grease / flower and starch is the messiest thing they deal withNot afraid of heights - 18 foot vertical climb to get to second story – must feel comfortableHeavy liftingConfined spacesSkills:Troubleshooting, Mechanical, Set Ups, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Blueprint, Preventive maintenance, Mechanical repair, CMMS, Documentation, Maintenance technician, Repair, HVAC, Welding, Fabrication, FDA, OvensAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES:
Troubleshooting and/or setup experience
Preventative maintenance- CMMS system
Rotary conveyors small drives – small motors (mostly 240 and 110)
Pneumatic s – Hydraulics PLUS
Basic tool set – major tool they will supply
Be okay with heights 18 foot vertical ladder and confined spaces
Be able to life 50lbs
