Maintenance Technician

FULL-TIME

$31.27/hr

Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical support, preventative maintenance, lubrication, repair, mechanical troubleshooting and resolution of basic operational issues of machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical experience; a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics; and be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic components which affect mechanics in an effort to determine the equipment malfunction and restore to operation.

Shift start: 7:00AM or 3:00PM or 11:00PM Shift length: 8 - 12 hours Monday - Friday, some overtime and weekends. However, staffing to go to a 24/7 schedule in the near future.

Strong electrical troubleshooting experience

An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including; motors, servos, pumps, relay, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial/electrical controls and power transmission systems.

Ability to use a laptop to analyze and troubleshoot, and understands basic PLC & VFD programming.

Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings, blue prints and schematics.

Ability to climb overhead structures; work beneath machines, and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.

Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Responsible for proper waste disposal.

Receptive to training and performs other duties as required.

Ability to work various shifts/overtime/days per week.
