Job Description:  The Manager of Enterprise Reporting and Data Engineering will lead and direct projects from inception to completion, manage and assign individual team member goals, oversee task management, and ensure the delivery of high-quality data engineering solutions and enterprise reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and project management skills as well as an understanding of data engineering and reporting processes.Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consistent delivery of high-quality results.

Manage and assign goals for team members, providing guidance and support to ensure professional growth and project success.

Oversee task management within the team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of deliverables.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including top collaborators and management, to define project scopes, set priorities, and drive data-driven decision-making.

Ensure the integrity, availability, and performance of enterprise reporting systems, facilitating accurate and actionable insights for the business.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data engineering practices, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, effectively communicating project statuses, risks, and opportunities.

Foster a culture of excellence, inclusion, and learning within the team, promoting agility and customer obsession.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in managing data engineering teams and delivering enterprise reporting solutions.

Strong project management skills with the ability to direct complex projects from conception to implementation.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.

Deep understanding of data engineering technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with Azure, Power BI, and Postgres servers is highly desirable.

Familiarity with data modeling and reporting in a business context.
