Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician (2 nd shift) for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with a client located in the Fredericksburg OH area.

Salary Range: $50,000- 72,000 depending on experience

Manufacturing Technician - 2 nd Shift

Daily Activity of Manufacturing Technician
  • Typical list of equipment in the manufacturing plants
  • Ovens - forced air, contact and Infrared
  • Presses - 100-to-900-ton Hydraulic presses
  • Robotics - Yaskawa, ABB, Fanuc - inverted, 7 th axis, long arm, quad system waterjet cells
  • Automated molding lines with multiple stage configurations
  • Carpet extrusion lines
  • Latex coating lines
  • Non-woven needled lines
  • LaRoche/Fehrer fiber production lines with multiple feed systems, roll and cutting operations attached to fiber lines
  • Ancillary equipment - Compressed Air, Chillers, water filtration systems
  • Typical daily Activity for a Manufacturing Technician
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues by monitoring PLC inputs/outputs Allan Bradley/Siemens/Rockwell Automation
  • Assist maintenance in root cause and corrective actions
  • Waterjet programming as needed
  • Help establish preventative maintenance on all equipment with the Engineering/Maintenance departments
  • Train and troubleshoot with maintenance department personnel - electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics
  • Work with Plant Staff to ensure PM programs are established on new manufacturing equipment
  • Assist with minor electrical installation - motor repairs, replacements
  • Assist in rewiring communication cables on equipment
  • Assist maintenance on more complicated PM's
