Description We are looking someone with Medical Billing Claim Denial/Medical Collections experience to join our team in the healthcare industry, based in Kettering, Ohio. You will be involved in resolving collections with insurance companies. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities:Manage collections on medical insurance denials Working Accounts Receivable Aging ReportsFollowing Medicaid GuidelinesResearch payments to post to the correct accountCalling insurance companiesSolving DenialsCommunicate effectively with insurance companies and patientsApply critical thinking skills to resolve complex billing issuesUnderstanding EMR (Electronic Medical Records) for reviewing patient recordsHandle insurance collections, liaising with insurance companies as requiredPerform authorizations and benefit functions as part of the billing processUse your troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve billing discrepanciesRequirements Previous experience in a similar role within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Medical Billing Experience with Insurance Collections a Demonstrated skills in Critical Thinking Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (be able to do pivots and VLOOKUP's) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Home Hospice billing experience a but not required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
