Description Robert Half is supporting a Cincinnati client in need of a Medical Insurance Enrollment Specialist for a long-term contract. As a Medical Insurance Enrollment Specialist, you will be facilitating the enrollment process for patients in various medical insurance plans. This role involves patient interaction, coordination with insurance companies, and maintaining accurate records. The specialist provides guidance to patients about their insurance options and ensures compliance with policies and regulations.Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assistance:

Guide patients through the enrollment process.

Conduct consultations to gather necessary information.

Provide ongoing support and address patient inquiries.

Insurance Coordination:

Verify patient eligibility and benefits.

Resolve issues with insurance companies.

Submit enrollment applications and documentation accurately.

Record Keeping:

Maintain patient records and update information in EHR systems.

Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data security regulations.

Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data entry role, preferably within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industries Proficient in the use of data entry software and tools Experience in handling open enrollment processes Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Excellent typing skills Able to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly Good knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills High school diploma or equivalent is required, higher education will be a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with the healthcare industry's privacy laws and regulations would be an advantage.
