JOB DESCRIPTION

Hybrid - 2-3 days a week onsite in Mason, OH

General FunctionThe Developer supports the North American Contact Center (NACC) organization in the development of solutions supporting e-commerce, retail, commercial and vision services. Works in a collaborative/cross-functional way to deliver applications aligned to strategic and tactical growth objectives. Under the direction of the Sr Manager of Business Intelligence, the Developer performs specific development tasks using best practices and analytical skills to design, build, test and implement software and data solutions.

Major Duties And Responsibilities• Works as part of a team to design, build, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code• Develop and Integrate data storage solutions (SQL Server, SSRS, File Storage)• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization• Supports standard system processes and enhancements to systems.• Ensures that solution design adheres to Industry software design best practices• Adheres to defined Software Development Life Cycle & Architecture strategy & intent• Follows department standards in areas of development methodology, architecture, code standards, security, and change & configuration management• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications

Basic Qualifications• 3+ years Object Oriented Programming Language Experience• Strong understanding and experience with the .NET framework• Familiar with web application frameworks such as Core, Web APIs and Blazor• Strong understanding and experience with the C# language• Solid ability to work in a team• Good overall technical skills• Strong problem solving skills• Well-organized with good attention to detail• Solid written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline• Skill for writing reusable libraries• Strong understanding and experience with various design and architectural patterns such as MVC and MVVM• Expert with SQL Server and database systems administration• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
