The first phase of this project has been planned for a minimum of 6-9 months with subsequent phases extending that timeline. The first phase of this project has been planned for a minimum of 6- 9 months with subsequent phases extending that timeline to a possibility of up to 24 months. (No guarantee on time of service, but we wanted to give you an idea of how big the project is). We are looking for a total of 2 Programmer 4 positions. The start time for each will be staggered depending on the amount of work required as we work through phase 1 of the project. The application will be tied to a Microsoft SQL database data repository utilizing local database replication over remote connections. The local database will reside on laptops used by inspection staff in the field. The developers will report to the lead developer on-site following current ODA standards for Web Application Development. Key development stack technologies: c#, MVC, Bootstrap, JQuery, JavaScript Other Technological needs that may be encountered on different phases of this project: c#, .Net, Object Oriented Programming, MVC 5.0, Team Foundation Server, T-SQL (stored procs, functions, views, triggers) JQuery, AJAX, JSON, OWIN, JavaScript HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap Nice to have but are not of major concern: Knowledge of the Microsoft Data Replication processes , Knowledge of Telerik controls Skill matrix: Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Verifiable experience as a .NET Web Developer developing ASP.NET MVC applications Required Years Verifiable ASP.NET experience developing with the C Sharp (C#) language. Required Years Verifiable experience with Microservices. Required Years Verifiable experience with Microsoft C# .NET Core or .NET 5. Required Years Verifiable experience with SQL Server Database Design and development: optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures, functions. Required Years Experience developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later. Required Years Experience developing a project within the AGILE methodology. Required Years Verifiable experience developing web applications utilizing the 4.0 .NET Framework or higher. Required Years Verifiable Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). Required Years Experience or a demonstrable understanding of N-tier environments as it relates to development and deployment. Required Years Experience or a demonstrable understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies and recovery using Team Foundation Server (TFS). Required Years Verifiable experience implementing Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) enabled controls within Active Server Pages (ASP).Net Web applications. Required Years Verifiable experience developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and making them accessible within an MVC web application. Required Years Experience or a demonstrable understanding of developing applications that are mobile compliant. Required Years Demonstrable understanding of implementing secure coding practices for an ASP.Net MVC application. Required Years Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) or a verifiable experience implementing a testing strategy for applications developed. Required Years Experience developing with Visual Studio; 1 year with Visual Studio 2019. Required Years Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps including git, boards and pipelines. Required Years Experience developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Highly desired Experience programming on databases containing millions of rows. Highly desired Knowledge and work experience in Razor Pages, Blazor and Progressive Web Apps. Highly desired Experience with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) development. Highly desired Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud computing, containers, Kubertenes. Highly desired Experience with Linux O/S (in addition to Windows).
