Description We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in BLUE ASH, Ohio. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Network Engineer, you will be tasked with administering network services, coordinating software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting network issues, and working closely with vendors and team members to ensure high-quality support services.Responsibilities: Administer and manage all LAN/WAN-related network services in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate and execute network software and hardware upgrades. Identify and resolve LAN/WAN performance and connectivity issues. Perform network monitoring and analysis to maintain network performance. Collaborate with vendors to solve complex network problems. Plan layouts for new hardware or modifications to existing layouts. Work collaboratively with other technical staff to provide high-quality support services to end users. Maintain confidentiality in processing, storing, or accessing network information. Document network problems and their resolutions for future reference. Participate in on-call rotation to provide continuous network support. Requirements Possess expertise in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Proficiency in working with Checkpoint Experience with Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies Familiarity with Computer Hardware Expertise in Configuration Management Experience working in a Datacenter Knowledge of VOIP - Voice Over IP and VoIP System Proficiency in working with Cisco Catalyst Switches Experience with Ethernet switches Knowledge of Cisco Firewall and Firewall Configuration Familiarity with Cisco Wireless Proven ability to work in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry Demonstrable experience as a Network Engineer Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred Relevant certifications will be considered a plus Must be willing to keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
