Seeking Network Security Architect experience as a security architect/engineer for a large enterprise network and security environment.   • 10+ years’ experience as a security architect/engineer for a large enterprise network and security environment (100+ network connected sites and 3000+ users).
  • Extensive expertise with risk posture assessments, cyber security requirements, and technical policies; expertise in collaborating with third-party vendors, service providers, and business partners to quantify risk, create risk management strategies, and enforce security policies.
  • Expert ability in recognizing existing and potential network threats, evaluating threat level, and remediating through firewall, proxy, device patching, configuration changes, and best practice implementation, in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Deep technical expertise using Python, PowerShell, and Docker for automating IT operational and security tasks, building service APIs, and interacting with existing APIs from multiple vendor products, and cloud platforms and services from Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.
  • Extensive knowledge of the NIST frameworks and a deep understanding of application and server network communication flows; ability to quickly assess, plan, and deploy enterprise security solutions that provide appropriate confidentiality, availability, and integrity services.
  • Enterprise security expertise and skills: Firewalls, proxy servers, Identity Access Management (IAM), Penetration Testing, Risk Management, Security Information Event Management (SIEM); public key infrastructure, cryptography,
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to quickly understand, discuss, and document complex technical concepts in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other relevant field
  • 6 years of experience in IT with consulting experience required
  • Vendor Management - responsible for working with the vendor for all project related software and hardware for lifecycle management, vendor meetings, etc.
  • Technical Leadership – technical leadership and strategic direction on critical activities to achieve business objectives. Define the current and future state of the technology and all applicable integrations. This includes collaboration with architects and other technical professionals for environment setup and management, configuration, and development. In addition, provide technical
  • leadership for analyzing future project ideas and their estimated
business value.
  • Anticipate, understand, and communicate the implications of technical decisions on the business, applications, and project timelines and influence decisions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Business Consultants to confirm critical business, requirements and manage expectations with business partners, as well as contribute to the analysis of future project ideas and their estimated business value.
  • Business Relationship Management – effectively demonstrate learning agility to use and develop business process knowledge and define how technology will be designed to enable it. Use skills and experience to influence strategic direction and future releases.
  • Analyze and solve complex technical problems, including advanced data analysis and multiple technologies.
