South Pointe Hospital, through the Department of Wellness and Preventive Medicine at Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking a board certified physician to lead as Program Director of its Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency (ONMM). The selected candidate will join a team that serves the needs of the local community by joining a busy practice located on the campus of South Pointe Hospital in Northeast Ohio. Employment with Cleveland Clinic offers, competitive salary and an attractive benefits package which includes medical malpractice and retirement plans.The Program Director has responsibility, authority and accountability for the operations of the Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency in accordance with ACGME requirements. The Program Director reports directly to the Department Chair of Wellness and Preventive Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. In addition, the Program Director plays a key role with many stakeholders in the milieu of GME at South Pointe Hospital and Cleveland Clinic. The Program Director dedicates no less than 20% of their professional effort to the administrative and educational activities of the ONMM educational program with institutional support. Clinical activity will be required.The ONMM residency program at South Pointe Hospital is approved for four (4) slots and currently has two residents. The Program Director works closely with the Director of Osteopathic Recognition in the design, implementation and research of training initiatives that involve the additional residency programs maintaining osteopathic recognition, under ACGME. The program has an Associate Program Director who provides support and oversight of the didactic sessions, simulation training, wellness, diversity, equity and inclusion, and in mentorship of the residents. The program also benefits from a dedicated program coordinator. The Program Director will have resources available through Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM), Cleveland Campus, located adjacent to South Pointe Hospital. The Program Director will also have involvement with teaching medical students.Candidates must have completed an ONMM residency program, or possess equivalent training.
